The CBA is an international, non-profit organization that promotes both public and family cord blood banking, with the objectives of saving lives, improving health and changing medicine.

Our priorities are advocacy, quality products and services, market expansion, research and development, and public and professional education. As a Member of the new organization you can help . . .

• Develop industry standards and best practices
• Educate health professionals and expectant parents about public and family options for banking cord blood
• Inform policymakers, the media and the general public about the benefits and the future of cord blood

Individual Memberships

The Individual Member opportunity is open to anyone who supports the CBA mission – cord blood bank personnel, research investigators, laboratory technicians, patients, donors, regulatory officials, vendors and health care providers such as transplant physicians, obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses and midwives. Annual dues are $99.
